When the world shut down during COVID, I found myself—like many—craving connection and a creative outlet. That led to the launch of Feeding the Monster, an online brand I co-created with long-distance friends. The name was a tongue-in-cheek nod to the ever-hungry social media landscape, where strangers screamed into the void (often at each other) on platforms like Twitter.

One of our flagship projects was a podcast we called Are We Wearing Pants?—a running joke from our calls during lockdown, when dress codes disappeared and existential questions got weird. Even our Canadian friends weren’t going anywhere. We each leaned into heightened versions of ourselves, creating comedic personas that allowed us to vent, laugh, and explore the absurdity of the moment.

Over the course of this creative run, I recorded more than 180 episodes of original podcast content—spanning everything from cultural commentary and punditry to lifestyle reviews and interviews with some truly fascinating guests.

What started as a way to stay sane became a full-fledged creative exercise in voice, tone, and collaborative storytelling.

Want to hear what that all sounded like? I’ve curated a few playlists of my favorite episodes—feel free to take a listen.
